Play it with enemy within defo tho, it adds too much and too fun/great things to the game to bother with vanilla (MECs, gen modded soldiers, new enemies, new missions, EXALT that really spice the game up and more). You can buy it and play that game till you buy the hard drive - it's really good and fun to play too (similar enough to xcom 2 to be great, different enough to worth playing even if you have xcom 2). Also a good buy is for 6$ or euros - xcom 1 with all the expansions and DLCs, it's 20GB and on sale now. In this DLC, additional resistance factions form in order to fight against ADVENT and eliminate the alien threat on Earth. You will get the hang out of the game in few hours and enjoy vastly better experience + WOTC runs better than xcom 2 vanilla.Ĭonsider investing in new SSD/HDD (ssd, aham, aham :) ) before downloading and playing the game, you won't regret it - it's good. I would strongly recommend WOTC from the start tho (with all the DLCs on), it's the same game - but better and with a lot more content, fun to play, mechanics and so on. You can disable/enable mods from the game library on steam (open steam - games - xcom - remove the ticks from the expansion/DLCs).
